This annual event brings together government policy makers and industry leaders for interactive conversations about the most important economic issues facing our state and how we can make New Jersey more competitive and attractive to young talent, new employers and investment, and more prosperous and affordable for all residents. The program will include three segments:

  • Lt. Governor & DCA Commissioner Sheila Oliver will discuss Murphy Administration priorities and how they might affect CRE, and the program will also feature:
  • A Conversation with the Legislative Leadership: NAIOP NJ President Dave Gibbons (Elberon Development Group) will lead a conversation with Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean, Assembly Majority Leader Lou Greenwald, Clark Machemer (Rockefeller Group), and Steve Santola (Woodmont Properties).
  • Is New Jersey ready to move forward from being touted as “just a suburban market” to the more important “growth ring” of the NE region? Our panel will unpack the ideas around:  Next generation workforce and the ever-important talent migration; The evolution of our co-working ecosystems and the blended model for commercial development; Our shift away from the commoditization of our commercial product to a stronger identity and business ready product; and Commuting in New jersey has never been more difficult – how do satellite offices, technology and urbanization of campuses support this? Dana Nalbantian of Gensler will lead this discussion with  Mayor John Labrosse of Hackensack, Mayor Ron Francioli of Hanover Township, Ross Chomik of Vision Real Estate Partners, Tom Walsh of JLL and Rutgers Economist Dr. James Hughes.
This event is sponsored by the 2018 Platinum, Gold and Silver Master Sponsors, plus Windels Marx, Gensler, JLL and CoStar Group.
