Director of Membership, Sponsorships & Special Events
Ideal candidate is a dynamic, mature professional with experience in non-profit association management and/or event planning. Must be a self-starter (well organized, attentive to detail) with an outgoing personality who enjoys sales and relationship building and excellent (verbal, written, graphic) communication skills. Works closely with CEO, staff and committee members to achieve goals and objectives. Responsible for planning, directing and overseeing the: membership program and initiatives, sponsorship development, and special events including the annual Awards Gala and Golf Classic. Designs logos, flyers, signs, invitations, awards, branding and marketing materials – printed and digital. Staffs Membership, Developing Leaders, Golf and Gala Committees including agendas, minutes and follow-up. Must attend all events; serve as resource for member questions; convene conference calls and other general office work (e.g., phones). Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Knowledge of economic development, public policies and commercial real estate is a plus.
